US Holocaust Museum Conference
I have just been accepted as a participant in the Arthur and Rochelle Belfer National Conference for Educators: Social Studies. This is a three day conference in July at the USHMM for educators who include Holocaust curriculum either as part of language arts or social studies programs in their schools. I had contacted the director of the conference and because of my experience as a pastor/teacher/lecturer/consultant regarding cross cultural and multi-ethnic work and our book, which is in the library, I do not need a School Supervisor to approve my credentials nor do I have to be employed as a public or private school educator. I count this as a wonderful privilege.
Also, I have been asked to do a talk and a book signing at a unique bookstore, The Bookworm, in East Aurora, N.Y. just south of Buffalo. on Saturday April 27, between 11AM and 1PM.
